Ian Kennedy

Ian Kennedy retired as director of research for Cambridge Associates, a global investment advisory firm. He chairs the investment advisory committee of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and serves on the investment committee of Oxford University. Kennedy has a BA from Oxford and a PhD from the University of Virginia, both in English, which he taught at UVA and Bucknell University, specializing in nineteenth-century British poetry. He is the past Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Academy of American Poets and a member of its Emeritus Circle.
