Hai-Dang Phan is the author of Reenactments (Sarabande Books, 2019) and the translator of Phan Nhiên Hạo’s Paper Bells (The Song Cave, 2020). The recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, and the American Literary Translators Association, he lives in Iowa City.
